Think Before You Speak
Am I thinking before I speak? I was looking through some old devotionals that I had from when I taught the girls junior high devotions class. Thought i would share with you. I hope it is an encouragement to you. What is your speech like? How do you talk to others? Are you building up people? Does your speech tear people down? Do the things you say bring glory to the Lord? Proverbs 31:26 " She openeth her mouth with wisdom : and in her tongue is the law of kindness ." The Proverbs 31 woman thinks before she speaks. She doesn't just blurt out the first thing that comes to her mind. Even when people are unkind to us, we need to be kind to them. Are you being kind with the things you say? Ephesians 4:32 " And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you ." Are you being kind one to another? Are you treated them as Christ would? Are we quick to forgive tho
