Scripture post # 7

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to share. It's been very encouraging to read these. I'm so thankful for Scripture! This is the last scripture post...it was suppose to go out on Sunday but didn't. Thanks again to the 33 of you that made this happen, this was a very fun series to do!

~Scott didn't get to write out his why for his verse, so we will have another post at some time for our favorite verse and why.

~Scott~

Genesis 1:1, "In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

~Jenny~

Psalm 73:26, "My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever."

~Samuel~

Colossians 2:10, "And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"

"Colossians 2:10 speaks of being complete in Christ which is a wonderful reminder."

~Brian~

Psalm 145:14-19, "The LORD upholders all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of the all wait upon thee; and thou gives them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hands and satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto al them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them."

"It lifts me up and gives me strength and confidence in God's promises."

~Diana~

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

"This is the first verse that I learned as a child and it's self explanatory. It tells you that you can know because Christ died for our sins."
