Day 12: I am thankful for:

~Life
~Love
~Lakes
~Leaves

~Life- I'm thankful for my life! I'm thankful for the happy and sad times that we go through. I'm thankful to have a loving husband who walks beside me. I'm thankful for a compassionate, faithful, loving, forgiving and gracious Lord who gave me life. 



~Love-I'm thankful for love. Love is what brings us all together. Love is prioritizing someone else's needs above ones one. Love is putting the imagination of empathy and sympathy into action. Love is waiting patiently and listening before responding.

~Lakes-I'm thankful for lakes. When Scott and I lived in Michigan we would often walk to this lake that had a nice walking trail. We made lots of good memories! 

In case my Texas friends wondered....thats a frozen lake! 

~Leaves- I'm thankful for leaves! They are so beautiful and usually remind me of fall! In our area, there are not many leaves, at least not what I'm used to in Michigan. When a leaf falls from the tree, I am reminded of God's pruning. How He is shaping and molding us into the image of His son.

The Story of our 1st miscarriage with Baby Nutter I am ready to share my story about having a miscarriage. They say there is healing in sharing.  What is every little girls dream? To grow up one day, get married, and have a baby. The day came when I got married, I couldn't wait to start a family! With much prayer Scott and I thought we were ready to start a family. We  had been trying for awhile and it didn't even seem hopeful. Every-time that   time of the month came around I would be sad that it didn't happen, time and time again. Blogmas Post #3 There are only 22 days left until  Christmas!  The question for you today is:  Do you have an ornament that's special to you personally or as a married couple?  I love decorating the tree each year, its one of my favorite things to do! I looked at all our ornaments to see which one was the most special to us, I found two of them!  The first one is this ornament. It was given to us as a wedding gift. I ordered a picture small enough to fit in it.  The second one is this ornament. It came from my most favorite store in the whole world!!!!! If you aren't from Michigan, you probably have no idea what store I am talking about. Michigan is known for many things, one of them being a Christmas town with the world's largest Christmas store!
